At Ramaker Stables, LLC, we offer many different disciplines of horse riding lessons for children (starting at age 5) and adults. Lessons are given in a private, semi-private (2 riders), or group settings (3-5 students). We provide horses, saddles and tack for lessons if you do not own a horse. We have a variety of instructors that cater to different riding styles and ages. We offer Western, Reining, English, Dressage and Jumping lessons at different levels. Children will need to be evaluated to ensure that they are old enough to steer and stop the horse and have the attention space for at least a 30 minute lesson.

Lessons are available 7 days a week -- during the morning, afternoon or evening. Lessons can be taught in the covered arena, and we also have an outdoor arena and round pens -- all of which have lights so lessons can be taught in the evenings.

Our instructors will teach you all aspects of the horse including brushing, cleaning hooves, tacking and untacking a horse, mounting, riding, steering, stopping, etc. We have beginner, intermediate, advanced and showing classes.

Before coming to your first riding lesson, please read, sign, and bring the waiver and lesson/arena rules. Students need to wear pants and a shoe with a heel (no tennis shoes or sandals). Students need to bring an ASTM Approved Riding Helmet with them for all lessons. Helmets must be worn when mounted on a horse. Helmets can purchased on-line or at a tack store.

We have group lessons for students for after school and other times during the week. If you are interested in private, semi-private or group lessons, please contact Tami at 512-507-2578. We are located in Leander (off Parmer / Ronald Reagan) down the street from the newest (not completed yet) Leander Middle school. We are also close to Parkside Elementary School. We are close to Cedar Park, Round Rock, Liberty Hill, North Austin, and Georgetown.

If you are interested in showing, or just taking lessons to learn, we can help. We also have horses available for leasing.

You can purchase lessons as a gift for a birthday, Christmas or some other special event. We can print up a gift certificate for the lessons so that you can give it to your loved one.
