Full Care Horse Boarding

At Ramaker Stables, we offer full care horse boarding in 3 different packages (see below for a full list of amenities):

STALL BOARDING includes an individual 12 x 12 stall, individualized quality grain fed twice a day, quality coastal hay in stalls and pasture, fresh water, daily turnout (weather permitting), stalls cleaned daily and shavings added as needed, individual tack locker and use of all facilities. We can add supplements to your horse's grain and/or give your horse Alfalfa if you provide them. We will blanket your horse (you provide the blanket) when horses are in their stalls below 40 degrees. We also put on fly masks. Monthly board ranges between $445 and $485.

PADDOCK BOARDING includes a private paddock, individualized quality grain fed twice a day, quality coastal hay in stalls and pasture, fresh water, daily turnout (weather permitting), stalls cleaned daily and shavings added as needed, individual tack locker and use of all facilities. We can add supplements to your horse's grain and/or give your horse Alfalfa if you provide them. We will blanket your horse (you provide the blanket) when horses are in their paddock below 40 degrees. We also put on fly masks. Monthly board is $375 (for one horse or $600 for 2 horses).

PASTURE BOARDING includes 12% pellet grain twice a day and round bale coastal hay in pasture, 75 gallon fresh water tank, shared tack room, and use of all facilities. 1/3 of the pasture is has trees. Monthly board is $295.

MINIATURE HORSE PADDOCK BOARDING includes 10% pellet grain twice a day and round bale coastal hay in paddock with only other minis. Fresh water. Lots of shade. Monthly board is $115.

We worm horses bi-monthly on odd months for an additional charge of $10. The rotation is as follows:

  • January - Pyrantel pamoate
  • March - Fenbendazole (or oxibendazole)
  • May - Ivermectin/Praziquantel
  • July - Pyrantel pamoate
  • September - Fenbendazole (or oxibendazole)
  • November - Ivermectin/Praziquantel

If you horse is on a daily wormer, he/she must be paste wormed twice a year with Ivermectin (and for tape worms)

Current Negative Coggins and immunizations records must be presented upon horse's arrival.

Daily Turn Out:

  • Ramaker Stables has 8 different turn out pastures for your horse. We group horses based on their personality, sex and age. All turn out pastures have round bales of hay and large water tanks. Horses are turned out daily (weather permitting) and are brought in twice a day for feeding. We have a Senior pasture for horses 20 years and older and a Mare pasture that is separate and does not boarder any gelding pastures. Horses are kept in their stalls when it is below 40 degrees, above 95 degrees, if it is going to rain or it is raining, if the pastures are muddy or it is going to be extremely windy.

Amenities:

  • 80' x 130' covered arena with an additional 50' not covered. The covered arena has a sprinkler system to keep the dust down and is dragged/raked daily. Footing is sand and rubber.
  • 100' x 180' outdoor arena with lights. Footing is sand and sandy loam.
  • Two 60' round pens (1 with lights and sand footing, 1 with sandy loam footing).
  • 3 wash racks that are inside the barns and have rubber mats. One wash rack has hot and cold water.
  • We have many different grooming areas and a farrier station that are inside the barn with rubber mats and lights.
  • Full Vet Stockade for veterinary care, floating teeth or general maintenance for your horse.
  • Each barn has a sink, microwave and refrigerator.
  • On-site 24 hour care. Both owner and staff live on site for the safety of your horse.
  • The property has secure coded gate access with an after hours security code.
  • Trailer Parking.
